TAMPA FILM FESTIVALS
The film festival events of Tampa Bay Film and the resource for Tampa film festivals

Tampa film festivals will never be the same, again. They will set standards from now on, as well as support Tampa filmmakers. If they do not adapt to what is coming, they may go out of business, and, in that case, it would be a good thing for the Tampa indie film industry.

09/05/10 BREAKING NEWS - INTRODUCING THE FRONTIER FILM FESTIVAL

Branded today, and named yesterday, the flagship film festival for Tampa Bay Film, which is our annual Tampa film festival which the Tampa Film Showcase monthly film festival and professional networking event series ties into, will be officially called the Frontier Film Festival. This large annual film festival will be the most advanced film festival in the Tampa Bay market, as well as Florida. Support infrastructure is in place, and, like the Tampa Film Showcase, the Frontier Film Festival has its own domain name to go with its web site, although it, too, will also be marketed through Tampa Film Festivals. The Frontier Film Festival, because of its branding, will also be tied into Frontier Pop, and our other branded properties. Don't expect the Frontier Film Festival to debut until early 2015 at the earliest, however, because it will require a full year run of the Tampa Film Showcase to lead into it. Thus, large film festivals like the Gasparilla International Film Festival have a couple of years to improve whatever it is that they try to do before we have a film festival that can directly engage them in the market (although it's expected that the monthly Tampa Film Showcase will be more competition than they can handle), and work to put those other film festivals out of business. One thing that can be said about the Frontier Film Festival, and other Tampa Bay Film festivals, is that they are all sincere about supporting Tampa filmmakers, and advancing Tampa indie film. Details about the Frontier Film Festival are currently classified, and a closely guarded secret.

Welcome to Tampa Film Festivals, a marketing web site for an array of Tampa film festivals and a directory for other Tampa film festivals. The Tampa Film Festivals web site also references film festival reviews on Tampa Film Review and film festival event information/ coverage on Tampa Bay Film.
This film festival resource web site is a production of Tampa Bay Film and Eventi Events. This web site will serve as both a marketing, and an operating, web site for all of the Tampa Bay Film and Eventi Events / Stage film festival properties once they debut and begin operations.

OUR TAMPA FILM FESTIVALS
Tampa Film Festivals is primarily a marketing site for our array of film festival properties. This mean that our film festivals will be front and center here as the come online. Our film festivals include, but are not limited to:

Tampa Bay Film Online Film Festival
The Tampa Bay Film Online Film Festival is a free online film festival which is always open, and available throughout the world. It came online with Tampa Bay Film in January 2007, and has been operating since. Our online film festival is the most effective, and popular, Tampa film festival, pulling in more numbers, and with more indie films viewed, than all of the Tampa film festival events combined. It’s also the top Florida film festival. At any given moment, lots of people are watching films on the online film festival. Right now, at this moment, a few dozen people are watching a few dozen indie films at once, and this is going on at any given moment, all day, all night, every single day.
The Tampa Bay Film Online Film Festival ties into all of the our film festival events, and in some instances in ways that you wouldn’t be able to imagine.

Tampa Bay Film Review Underground Film Festival
The Tampa Bay Film Review, which should debut in 2012, is a small, private film festival, covered like a conventional film festival for very public results, where a group of entertainment industry professionals gather and review indie films. This underground film festival series, which has no set schedule, will be our workhorse for group reviews of independent films.

Halloween Drive-In Underground Film Festival
Due to debut in the fall of 2012, this underground film festival is a horror film festival which is a “film festival in a car”. There is an upgraded version due in 2013.

Reverence Film Festival
A new species of film festival, the Reverence Film Festival is an annual horror and exploitation film festival. It is an entirely new type of indie film festival, and is scheduled to debut soon. The Reverence Film Festival will be our first film festival, and is tentatively scheduled to debut in the fall of 2013.

Tampa Film Showcase Monthly Film Festival and Professional Networking Event Series
Our monthly film festival and networking event has been in development since 2007. When it finally debuts (TBA; tentatively scheduled for January 2014), it will be on of the two the most advanced Tampa film festivals, with lots of excellent, and proven, features. The Tampa Film Showcase will also be the first professionally organized monthly film festival in the Tampa Bay market.

Frontier Film Festival
This is our largest film festival property, and it is an annual event. Since the Tampa Film Showcase has a symbiotic relationship with the Frontier Film Festival, and the Frontier Film Festival, in turn, is connected with the Tampa Film Conference, the Frontier Film Festival will debut a year after the premier of the monthly Tampa Film Showcase, with 12 Tampa Film Showcase film festival and networking events leading into it. Likewise, the Tampa Film Conference cannot debut until the Frontier Film Festival does, as it will follow the Frontier Film Festival by a few months. The Frontier Film Festival will be the most advanced film festival in Florida; specifics are classified.
